CKATT Basketball has spent the past 25 years shaping young athletes into leaders—on the court and beyond. From foundational programs for beginners to elite development for high-performance athletes, our organization is built on purpose, passion, and progress.
Shaping student-athletes into confident, self-reliant individuals who excel in team environments. Through the game of basketball and our program structure, we can help build resilience, critical thinking and a strong character, equipping them for life beyond sports.
Providing an empowering platform for beginners to high-performance levels to promote, foster, and maintain a positive culture in youth basketball. We will build student athletes to become champions on and off the court by emphasizing quality teaching, coaching and learning.
We believe in growing through both training and competition. Every CKATT athlete embodies our five core values:
We believe enjoyment fuels learning. Every drill, game, and challenge is built to inspire joy and passion for the game.
Set clear goals. Track progress. Every player is encouraged to pursue growth with purpose and direction.
Through discipline and development, we build self-belief that lasts on the court—and beyond it.
We win together, lose together, and grow together. Teamwork is the heartbeat of CKATT.
Every day is a chance to get better. We instill a mindset of continuous growth in all our athletes.
CKATT Basketball was founded in 1999 by a group of dedicated parents, coaches, and community advocates who shared a common vision. They saw a gap in Mississauga’s youth sports landscape—a need for a basketball program that prioritized both athletic development and personal growth.
Their mission was to create a structured, competitive, and inclusive environment where young athletes could thrive on the court while also building life skills like discipline, leadership, and resilience. The founders believed that basketball could be a vehicle for positive change in the lives of youth, especially in underrepresented communities.
What began as a grassroots effort quickly grew into a respected league known across Ontario. Today, CKATT stands as a lasting legacy of the passion, purpose, and commitment that drove its founding members over 25 years ago.
